Day 16: Inspiration
Today is Good Friday which commemorates the Crucifixion of Christ. As a Christian, I believe in God and Jesus Christ and He is my inspiration. This drawing gives me chance to dedicated my art to my faith. I placed the verse John 3:16 which basically summarize what my faith is all about. In this verse, it says that "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have an everlasing life." As mere mortals, we inherit the flesh of Adam which is filled with sin. But with God's love for us, He offered His Son Jesus to wash away our sins with His own blood. Jesus went through a lot of suffering and He has to die for Humanity. But Thank God for resurrection, because with the Spirit we are all resurrected with Him. All we have to do is follow Jesus' living and believe in His teachings for it is He is the way, the truth and the life. So I dedicate my whole life to God for without Him i am nothing. Praise God for today we can enjoy Him through the Holy Spirit...

Day 15: Family Picture
I love this challenge. I get the chance to use a portrait of our family for a drawing. I chose this picture way back when we're in grade school. I remember waking up early to take family pictures for our school projects. As you can see, our little brother looks cranky early in the morning. :D Anyways, I really love my family. We live in the humble city of Zamboanga where my parents work in the Fire Department. My Papa is the city fire chief and my Mama is a government employee. We siblings studied in Evangelical schools but we studied in different high schools. Our Ate Eldee and I studied at Regional Science High School, Mark in WMSU-ILS and Aljo in Trade School. Ate took Nursing in WMSU and she is currently a call center agent in Cebu. I graduated in Ateneo de Zamboanga with a degree in Information Technology. Mark is still taking up Biology in Ateneo and our bunso, Aljo, studies in Manila at San Beda University and is a football player. As kids we're the usual siblings who always fight and argue but we're pretty disciplined. We grew up being very peaceful and now we always have fun with each other. My family is not only a group of 6. As filipinos, we have an extended family. My lola, aunty Merlinda and our cousin, Wella, lives next door. We grew up being very close with them so our aunty is like our second mom, and Wella is like our sister already. We're very close to our other cousins, too, so we always have family reunions everytime there's a birthday or special occasions. I couldn't ask for more with the family I have. God really blessed us and I'm thankful for providing me with all these people in my life. Today is Maundy Thursday which commemorates Jesus last supper with his disciples. This week let's us have time for our family. May we have a great holiday!

Day 14: Favorite Fairy Tale
One of the first stories i heard as a child is about the story of the Ugly Duckling. It's a simple tale about a little bird who is bullied for her looks. It turns out that this ugly duckling is actually a swan who grew up as the most beautiful bird in the barn. This original tale was written by Hans Christian Andersen in Denmark and has now been transformed into animated feature films, opera and musical plays. As a kid this story taught me never to judge a person especially on their looks. No matter what a persons outside looks like, the most important thing is the beauty in the inside. The way the other creatures judge or bully the strange-looking duckling makes them uglier beings. Picking on others does not make you a better person, and worse it puts others down. We should learn to love others no matter what their form is. We should treat others nicely so that in return they we will be treated nice too. Watch Disney's Ugly Duckling here.

Day 13: Comics
This one's a tough challenge. I'm poor in story telling and it has always been a struggle for me. In video editing, i have a lot of time to tell stories but in comics, i have to limit my story in a couple of boxes. For three days now, i searched for a funny short story but i find it hard to choose. I finally saw a tweet saying "What am I doing with my life?". It was random and funny. I always say this to myself whenever im unproductive or just slouching around in the house (which i have been doing for days now).hehe
Here in Zamboanga, we experience power interruptions everyday which kinda makes us also unempowered to work.haha. My work relies with computers mostly and without power, i cant work. But sometimes when power is up, i also procrastinate and do unnecessary things like 9gaging, facebooking, tweeting, watching movies or youtube clips, and playing games excessively. I always find myself late at night constantly hooked up with the internet and realize i haven't really finished my work yet. But thanks for this drawing challenge, I get to be productive somehow. My creative juices had ran out these days but i'm slowly gaining them back. I have 27 drawings to go and a lot of work to do. Stop Procrastinating! Get that lazy ass off the couch and do something productive!

Day 12: Most Recent Accomplishment
It was during my birthday last year that i decided to start this digital art series. But when I reached the 12th day, i was stuck. I have no idea what to draw for my "most recent accomplishment" because I wasn't that productive that time. I sort of had a reflection because of this challenge. During that time, i was in a transitional period in my life and I realized that I have to do more with my talent.
I decided to apply for a position as an instructor in Ateneo and fortunately I got in. I was assigned to teach Sound Supervision and Digital Cinematography for the BSIT seniors and Digital Multimedia for Comm Juniors. It was my
